Team Member Profile: Michael Stempka

Introducing you to our ovesco team is what brings us closer to our customers. For this month we would like you to meet one of our recent recruits, Michael Stempka. Michael has been with ovesco for over 18 months and is one of the Tooling Technicians that helps with customer service in our NSW showroom.

Michael has an extensive knowledge of everything ovesco has to offer and one of his favourite things about the job is sharing that knowledge with customers! Michael is the first to offer a helping hand to customers and can answer almost ANY question that you throw at him (why don’t you pop into the showroom and test him out?).

As an avid lover of all things outdoors you can find Michael camping on most weekends, in fact we are sure he’s already had more annual leave than others! Most of his work mates refer to him as a “fit bugger” because he is usually exercising when the rest of us don’t want to…

Michael is born and bred in Newcastle and classifies himself as a true local. Outside of work you can find him exploring the local beaches that Newcastle has to offer or tending to his menagerie on his property. You heard us right, a menagerie is a collection of animals and Michael (aka Dr Doolittle) has chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, Guineafowl, Rainbow Lorikeets and Finches!

Michael would describe himself as laid back, driven and passionate about life. We can agree with this after seeing him progress and grow into his position at ovesco.

We will leave you with Michael’s personal motto to believe in yourself, take on your challenges and dig deep within yourself to conquer your fears. And the one that really resonates with the ovesco team is “you’ve got to keep going”.
